American Airlines CEO Reads About Racism, Makes Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant’s Day

There is a lot of pain, frustration, and anxiety at the moment as a result of the death of George Floyd – an African-American who died in Minneapolis while in police custody a week ago. Scientific literature suggests that the brain needs at least five positive thoughts to counterbalance the effects of one negative thought. My next five posts are my humble attempt to bring a bit of sunshine into the darkness of intolerance, confusion, ignorance, and misunderstanding.

This post is a chance encounter between the CEO of American Airlines and a flight attendant from Southwest Airlines. One was seeking to understand, the other was seeking to communicate. Can you tell which was which?
